Bright blued finish has widely scattered light scratches in finish. British retailer marked on left side of frame 'Charles Lancaster London'. A number '11280' inscribed on bottom of trigger guard is possibly the retailers inventory number? Nice heat treat blue on small parts. Possible refinish long ago and possibly by the retailers facility. Older CAI import, marked on the left side of the barrel. Standard Mauser markings on top of the chamber and on the right side of the frame. The Mauser banner appears on the left side of the frame. Crown/U proofs are located on the left side of the chamber and top of the bolt. The numbered parts are matching. The left side of the magazine housing is stamped with a series of Chinese markings. The top of the chamber is stamped WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N and the right side of the frame is stamped WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A.NECKAR. The small Mauser banner appears on the left side of the frame. The metal finish appears to have some areas of touched up finish, over some scattered small areas of minor-light pitting mainly on the left side of the frame. MAUSER C96 BROOMHANDLE 7.63 mm Mauser; 50% blue, poor bore, fair grips, 5.5'' barrel, 1930 Commercial variation, appears to be a Chinese copy of very good quality or may be a Chinese rework of an original. The blue metal finish has dulled from age with areas of pitting overall. Fitted with ribbed wooden grips. Fixed front sight with a tangent rear sight graduated to 1000 meters. Mechanically fine, the bore is worn or been rebored to smoothbore, with no sign of evident rifling. Import marked from CAI under the barrels muzzle end. C&R/FFL, s/n 146xx	D12410	$995.00

Period commercial crown/U proof located on the left side of the chamber. Fixed front and tangent rear sight graduated for 1000 meters. Rig, includes the matching walnut stock, leather harness marked on the back INDUSTRIEGRUPPE 2/STUTTGART/1917, an original cleaning rod and an extra magazine follower spring. The metal finish on the pistol shows edge wear and some handling, the bottom of the barrel showing the expected wear from insertion into the stock. The small parts retain some of the bright fire blue finish. The grips have some small handling marks. The stock has some minor dings and handling scratches. The stock metal finish has turned mostly patina. The stock lid has a repaired crack. The leather harness is in very good original intact condition. MAUSER C96 STOCK Original walnut stock/hoslter for the Mauser 1896 "Broomhandle" pistols. Bright blue finish attaching iron and hinge plates. The attaching iron is serial numbered on the top 969. One side of the lid is stamped "MADE IN GERMANY". The finish on the metal parts is thinning slightly and the stock has some minor dings and scuffs. No cracks or repairs. The finish shows fairly minor wear with edge wear on the muzle end of the slide, sharp edge wear on the back of the grip frame and a line of wear on the front grip strap. MAUSER HSC (NAZI) 32 ACP; excellent bore, very good grips, 3.25'' barrel, Marked on the left side of the slide "MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF a.N./MOD. HSc=Kal. 7,65 mm" along with the Mauser banner. A Nazi proof WaA135 appears on the left side of the trigger guard. Eagle/N proofs are located on the right side of the slide along the muzzle and on the right side of the trigger guard. The metal has only traces of the original blue finish, most of the finish either worn or removed, leaving a smooth gray patina. The gun is fitted with smooth black plastic slab style grips.
