Fixed front and adjustable rear sight. Exposed hammer and external safety. Complete with an original factory two-tone finish magazine. The metal finish shows sharp edge wear with scattered small areas of minor spotting, mainly on the left side of the pistol. Complete with the original factory magazine. In the original two piece blue and yellow box which is numbered to the gun and is complete with the small internal box with a 4.5 inch barrel. Condition: The metal finish is 99.8% and shows some minor rubs which are likely front storage in the box and a couple minor handling marks. Used very little if at all. Mechanically excellent and clean internally. The box is intact showing handling/storage wear with tape repairs on some of the corners of the lid. FFL, s/n 8894xx

Earlier variation with the type I-A takedown system, lever on the back left side of the frame and with a round retracting rod on the back of the slide. Original blue finish and checkered hard rubber grips without monograms. Complete with the original two-tone finish magazine. Original fixed front and rear sights. Complete with an original factory two piece black box with green labels. Condition: Very good overall. The metal finish shows sharp edge wear and a few scattered light handling scratches. Most of the finish loss in the back grip frame strap. There is some light spotting on the back of the slide and around the back right corner. Mechanically fine and clean internally with a bright sharp bore. The box is intact with old tape repair around three corners of the lid. The top label is 99%, the end label obscured by the tape. Also includes a small cotton string bag marked from the High Standard Mfg. Co with an extra 6.75 inch tapered barrel. The barrel appears to be a take off with the front sight blade removed. Standard High Standard markings appear on the left side of the frame and slide. The right side of the frame is stamped "PROPERTY OF/U.S. along with an ordnance wheel marking. The top of the barrel is stamped in small letters PROPERTY OF U.S. Condition: the metal finish shows sharp edge wear and scattered handling scratches. There are some tiny dings along the left upper edge of the slide, and the front edge of the slide and top of the barrel above the breech have some damage where it appears someone has tapped on the areas to clear a jam. The lid label is about 85% intact. The white end label is about 50% with the guns serial number hand written on the remaining part. 36 Cal; 100% blue, excellent bore, excellent grips, 7.5'' barrel, Percussion black powder replica revovler manufactured by High Standard Hamden CT. replicating the Schneider and Glassick of Memphis Tennesse 1851 Colt type revolver produced during the American Civil War circa 1862. Previously owned, appears un-used with original blue finish, brass frame and grip frame straps and fitted with light walnut grips. Includes the factory supplied white display case with maroon felt lined fitted interior along with a D guard bowie style knife, which is serial numbered to match the revolver, with ebony grips marked C.S.A. and marked on one side of the ricasso DESIGNED BY JIM DICKSON. The knife is in as new condition as well. The display box has some soiling externally, and includes the papers. Note: IL law considers modern black powder firearms to be modern guns.
