Fitted with plain walnut grips without inlays for the screw. Originally blued, the metal has turned a gray patina overall with some light spotting. The grips show age and light handling marks with some minor shrinkage. The barrel flats have several marks from a tool used to remove the barrel. The action is working however the mainspring is weak. | ALLEN & WHEELOCK 22 SIDEHAMMER REVOLVER 22 Short; fair bore, good grips, 2.5'' barrel, This small revolver appears to be a fourth or fifth issue, marked on the left side of the octagonal barrel "ALLEN & WHEELOCK WORCESTER. MS. US./ALLEN'S PAT'S, SEPT. 7 NOV. 9, 1858". The revolver features a spur trigger and 7-shot cylinder. Originally blued, the metal has turned a brown/gray patina with some minor spotting. The gun retains the original walnut grips, which show some wear, the left grip having a small chip at the heel. Missing the hammer screw. A single shot deringer type pistol, the barrel swings out to the right for loading, and this example has the automatic ejector. Marked on the left side of the octagon barrel "ALLEN & WHEELOCK WORCHESTER MASS.". The barrel appears to have been shortened long ago to length with a bead front sight installed. The originally blue metal has turned a gray spotting patina. The walnut grips show age and wear, the left panel has a chip missing at the top front and a small chip on the bottom at the pin. | ALLEN 32 SIDEHAMMER REVOLVER 32 RF; excellent bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Manufactured circa 1862, this is an example of a Third Model, with original blue finish and walnut grips. Spur trigger, 6-shot cylinder with no evidence of a cylinder scene and fixed sights. Marked on the left side flat of the octagon barrel "ALLEN & WHEELOCK WORCESTER MS. US./ALLEN'S PATENTS SEPT. 7 NOV. 9 1858" and on the left side of the frame forward of the cylinder "JULY 3 1860". The finish has faded to a gray/brown patina with traces of blue finish in the protected areas. There is some scattered minor spotting. The grips show wear and some shrinkage, the right panel has a small chip on the heel and the left grip has a chip on the bottom at the pin. | BELGIAN DOUBLE BARREL REVOLVER 6 mm; good bore, good grips, 3.5'' barrel, This unique revolver has a 12 shot cylinder chambered in 6mm Velo Dog caliber, with side by side barrels which both fire simultaniously when the double action folding trigger is pulled. Top break hinged barrels with squeeze levers on both sides to open the barrels. Blue metal finish with finely checkered pressed bone grips. The top or the barrel is stamped with an arrow through AOD. The bottom flat of the barrels and the right side of the frame have Belgian proofs. The metal finish has mostly worn to a gray patina with traces of blue finish in the cylinder flutes and more protected areas. The grips show wear to the checkering which remains visible. | BELGIAN GASSER PATENT REVOLVER 11.75 X 36R; fair bore, good grips, 5.5'' barrel, A Belgian produced copy of a Gasser model 1872 revolver. Nickel finish and fitted with genuine ivory grips. 5-shot cylinder. This revolver features some simple leaf pattern and border engraving on the frame and cylinder. The nickel finish has mostly worn away leaving only traces with a gray spotty patina in the areas of loss. The action is working but not well with weak indexing and off timing. The matching serial number is stamped on the 6 shot cylinder as well, along with a single Liege proof. The barrel has high profile fixed sights fitted. The frame and barrel appear to have been cleaned of any finish, with the cylinder retaining approximately 80% blue finish. Fitted with walnut two piece grips. The trigger guard has been machined with the frame. A large screw is utilized to remove the barrel assembly for reloading, located near the front of the frames bottom.
