The original finish has faded to a blue patina mix overall with only traces of straw on the small parts. The bore shows some wear and frosting. DWM 1900 AMERICAN EAGLE 30 Luger; 96% blue, 80% straw, excellent bore, very good grips, 4.75'' barrel, Stamped on top of the toggle with the DWM logo and on top of the chamber with the American Eagle motif. All the numbered parts are matching including the fine checkered walnut grips. The toggle assembly and sideplate are stamped with the last three digits of the serial number while the grips and takedown lever are stamped with the last two digits of the serial. Original blue finish and strawed small parts. Complete with the original sheet steel magazine with unmarked wood base. The metal finish shows sharp edge wear and some light holstering wear to the high points. The grips show light handling with some wear to the sharp points on the checkering. The fire blue finish on the front sight and grip screws is thinning but visible. The remaining straw is uniform overall. Mechanically excellent with a bright bore. Includes a period V.L.& A. The safety area of the left side of the toggle housing is not marked, the safe setting left in the white. Complete with the proper unmarked sheet steel magazine with walnut base. The original blue finish shows some high area and edge wear, with scattered rust spotting and thinning finish on the front grip strap. The original checkered walnut grips show light wear with sharp checkering, the left grip panel has a chip missing under the safety lever. The straw color on the small parts remains uniform. The grips show light handling with sharp checkering. The magazine base has a neatly repaired crack across the back.
