DWM 1914 ARTILLERY 9mm Luger; 94% blue, 60% straw, very good bore, very good grips, 7 7/8'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and matching number checkered walnut grips. All matching except the proper variation magazine which is numbered 648e. Fine tune front and rear sights. The top of the toggle is stamped with the DWM logo and the top of the chamber is stamped with the date 1914. The right side of the receiver is stamped with Imperial proofs and a military acceptance mark. Other military acceptance marks appear on the right side of the barrel and left side of the breechbolt. The metal finish shows some minor sharp edge wear and light high point holstering wear. There is some minor spotting on the left side frame, sideplate and along the left side of the barrel and muzzle. The grips show lgiht handling with sharp checkering. Magazine wood base has a repaired crack around the right finger extension. Grips are good however left grip has a small chip missing under safety lever. Right side frame has some pitting just above grip and another small area of pitting on right side rail above grip. Rig, includes an original but mis-matched shoulder stock in Very Good condition with a 1917 dated holster. The holster is in fairly rough condition, missing the internal pull strap. The cleaning rod pouch has worn mostly through and the stud for the take down tool has pulled through. There is a hole in the front body in the trigger guard area. Matching except the firing pin and magazine which is an unmarked commercial variation. The hold open has been removed. The front sight has been replaced. The rear toggle link has three holes drilled and tapped with three screws installed. Standard DWM markings with Imperial proofs and acceptance stamps on the right side of the receiver. DWM 1920 COMMERCIAL ARTILLERY 9 mm; 98% blue, 90% straw, excellent bore, excellent grips, 7 7/8'' barrel, This is a very exceptional example of a post WWI assembled Artillery for commercial sale, with original blue finish, strawed small parts and fitted with checkered walnut grips. Marked on top of the toggle "DWM". The "GERMANY" country of origin marking is stamped along the top of the chamber. The extractor is "GELADEN" marked and the safety area on the left side of the toggle housing is marked "GESICHERT". The serial number 56 is stamped internally on the bottom of the receiver guide lug. The rear sight assembly is marked with the number 56 on the base, leaf and slider. There are no other numbered parts. There are no proofs, commercial or military. The trigger has been left in the white. Complete with an original unmarked sheet steel wood bottom magazine. The finish shows very minor sharp edge wear with a few very minor handling scratches.
