All matching except the proper variation magazine which is numbered 7232h/+. The right grip panel is not numbered however matches the left grip panel is color and condition. Fine tune front and rear sights. Stamped on top of the toggle with the DWM logo and on top of the chamber with the date 1915. Standard Imperial proofs and military acceptance marks. The metal finish shows wear and areas of thinning. The metal surface has some minor spotting with light pitting on both sides of the barrel muzzle, right side rail and frame above the grip and on the front and rear grip straps. There is an area of heavier pitting on the left side of the toggle housing. The grips show wear with smoothed but well defined checkering. The original blue finish is uniform overall showing some thinning and holstering wear to the high points, and thinning on the grip straps. All matching except the proper variation magazine which is numbered 3270/+. Standard Imperial proofs and military acceptance marks. Rig, includes the matching number shoulder stock and an original 1917 dated leather holster, leather cup and leather flap overstrap. The finish on the pistol shows some edge and high point holstering wear with faint thinning on the grip straps along with some minor spotting. The grips show evidence of having been varnished at some point, most now worn away with traces on the grip screws. Mechanically fine. The bore was strong and sharp but very dark. A quick cleaning with Kroil helped, however further cleaning will be necessary, and it looks like the bore will clean out to better condition. The stock is stamped with an Imperial proof on the left side. The attaching iron retains most of the blue finish and the locking lever retains some original straw color. The wood has some small dings and scratches. The holster and other leather components are dry, with a few issues. The end of the flap strap is torn and the pull strap is broken. Standard German Imperial proofs and military acceptance marks, this pistol is also British proofed, and has the British export release "tons" markings on the bottom of the barrel. The metal finish shows some edge and fairly light high point holstering wear, with scattered areas of light surface spotting. The grips show light wear to the checkering, the left panel has a crack under the safety lever. Mechanically fine. The bore is strong, showing some wear and minor pitting on the grooves. Rig, includes the matching Imperial proofed shoulder stock complete with original leather straps except for the cup which is a quality reproduction. Also includes a 1915 dated holster is good condition, the stud for the small takedown tool pouch has been replaced with a snap closure which is missing the snap in the small flap. Also the stud for the cleaning rod pouch flap is missing and the stitching on one end of the keeper for the flap strap has come apart. GERMANY export marked on the front of the frame and on the left side of the barrel under the rear sight. Stamped on top of the toggle with the DWM logo. Commercial crown/N proofs on the bottom of the barrel, left side of the receiver and left side of the breechbolt. Both grip panels have the Pacific Arms Corporation medallions inlayed near the top. Complete with the proper wood bottom magazine which is stamped 'Cal 9m/m' on the bottom. The metal finish show minor sharp edge wear and the grips show minor handling. Mechanically fine. 9mm Luger; 50% blue, 20% straw, very good bore, good grips, 7 7/8'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. 1936 dated Artillery with fixed front and tangent adjustable rear sight marked for 1000 thru 8000 meteres. Stamped on top of the toggle with the Mauser 5-line banner and on top of the chamber with the date 1936. Crown/U proofs appear on the left side of the receiver and breechbolt and on the end of the front side base. The front of the frame is importer marked “Odin Alex VA”. Four Thai characters are on the back of the frame, just above the lanyard loop. All numbered parts are matching except the magazine and rear sight leaf. The toggle pin and grip panels are not numbered. Complete with a proper vartiation magazine having a blued sheet steel body and aluminum base numbered 3506v+ with a droop eagle/63 proof. From the collection of Joseph J. Schroeder, Jr. Condition: Most Mauser Banner Artilleries were imported from Asia where they saw hard use. This one is no exception. Most of the blue finish has turned dull, showing edge and high point wear, areas of thinning and some light surface spotting. There is a small area of pitting on the bottom of the barrel. Very little straw remains on the takedown lever and safety. About 20% of the original straw remains on the trigger, magazine release button, and ejector. Dark original grips with sharp checkering, showing some light handling marks. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, showing some darkness along the grooves.
