9mm Luger; 92% blue, 20% straw, very good bore, good grips, 6'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Matching except the magazine and bolt hold open. The grips are not marked. The magazine is a proper navy variation with a ringed wood base, stamped with a faint navy proof on the front of the base and numbered 2425 along the tail of the base. Stamped on top of the toggle with the DWM logo. Crown/M Navy proofs appear on the left side of the receiver and on the bottom of the barrel. Navy acceptance marks appear on the left side of the barrel, receiver and breechbolt. Condition: The metal finish shows light sharp edge and high point holstering wear, with light spotting overall. The finish has begun to turn dull overall as well, typical on Navy guns. The grips show some wear and handling marks. 9mm Luger; 97% blue, 80% straw, very good bore, very good grips, 6'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and fine checkered walnut grips. The numbered parts are all matching. The grips are not numbered. The proper variation wood bottom magazine with rings is not marked. The top of the toggle is marked with the DWM monogram. Standard Imperial Navy proofs and acceptance marks appear on the left side of the receiver, barrel and breechbolt and on the bottom of the barrel above the serial number. Navy unit marked on the back grip frame strap W.W./3045 (Wilhelmshaven Dock Yard, weapon number 3045). Rig, includes an original Navy pattern shoulder stock with marking disc which is crown/M proofed, numbered 7837a on the attaching iron. The stock is complete with an original leather strap for the holster tip. Also includes a Navy pattern holster in good original condition, maker marked on the inside LOHSOHNE/ACT.GES./BERLIN and marked with a crown/M navy proof on the inside of the flap in the rough (a bit hard to see). The head on the pull strap inside the holster has tron away. Inside the holster is an original unmarked takedown tool, and also included is a set of original leather shoulder straps in fair condition, torn ends and a couple torn adjusting holes. Condition: Near excellent overall, the metal finish shows sharp edge and fairly light high point holster wear. There is some light canvas pattern rash over the top of the chamber and down the left side on the sideplate and left side frame, which does not detract too much from the overall condition. There is some minor spotting on the right side of the trigger. The grips show light wear to the points on the checkering. The magazine is excellent. The stock has scattered small dings, some minor surface spotting on the attaching iron and faded straw with some dark spotting on the locking lever. Mechanically fine. The left side of the receiver and bottom of barrel are marked with navy crown/M proofs. Navy acceptance marks appear on the left side of the barrel, receiver and breechbolt. 9mm Luger; 95% blue, 70% straw, fair bore, good grips, 6'' barrel, One of 30 or less examples with Uruguayan provenance. This pistol is featured in the book "The Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols" by Joachim Gortz and Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess on pages 892, 900 and 901, and was part of Dr. Sturgess's collection. Original blue finish, strawed small parts and matching number checkered walnut grips. The numbered parts are matching, marked in the commercial fashion. Complete with an unmarked wood bottom magazine. And includes the matching number walnut shoulder stock. The top of the toggle is stamped with the DWM monogram. Commercial crown/BUG proofs appear on the bottom of the barrel, crown/BU proofs appear on the left side of the receiver, breechbolt and toggle. Unaltered safety with GESICHERT marking in the lower position. Rig, includes the stock with attached original leather holster, shoulder straps, takedown tool and cleaning rod with oiler handle. Condition: Near excellent. The original blue finish shows just a touch of fading, with sharp edge and fairly light high point holster wear. There is some scattered minor surface spotting, mainly on the grip frame. The straw color on the small parts is weakening with some dark spotting. The grip panels have a few small dings and handling marks. Mechanically fine. The bore shows some wear to the rifling and light corrosion throughout. The stock is fine, the attaching iron retaining approximately 85% blue and the locking lever 30% straw color. The holster and straps shows age wear and scuffing. The medallion is marked "BURGERMEISTER DR. CARL LUEGER" with a maker "R. Marschall PF.C". The case contains accessories: extra original navy style magazine, unmarked base with concentric rings, barrel handled 7.25 inch cleaning rod, pin punch tool, unmarked takedown tool, and a period box of DWM 9mm conical bullet ammunition. Navy crown/M and acceptance proofs appear on the left side of the receiver, breechbolt and barrel. The date 1917 appears on the left side of the front sight base and left side short frame rail. Proper large flange toggle pin. Condition: The metal finish shows sharp edge and fairly light high point holster wear. The finish on the grip frame straps shows some thinning and handling. The straw color on the small parts is fading evenly. The grip panels show some wear to the points on the checkering, which remains well defined. Mechanically fine. The magazine is proper for a late Navy, with no concentric rings on the side of the wood base, the magazine is numbered along the tail 1120 with a crown/M proof stamped on the front of the base. DWM monogram on top of the toggle, 1917 date on top of the chamber. 1917 date stamped on the left side short rail and left side of the front sight base. The left side of the receiver is stamped with two crown/M proofs and a navy acceptance mark. Other navy acceptance marks are stamped on the left side of the barrel and breechbolt. The bottom of the barrel is stamped with a crown/M proof. Condition: Very Good. The metal finish shows edge and high point holster wear. The left side of the barrel has a tiny spot of minor pitting. 9mm Luger; 85% blue, 10% straw, fair bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Weimar era navy issue to the East Sea fleet, this pistol was a 1917 Artillery LP08 model which has been reworked by shortening the 8 inch artillery barrel to 4 inches. Original blue finish, strawed small parts and matching number checkered walnut grips. All numbered parts matching except the magazine which is a sheet steel wood bottom variation with unmarked base. The pistol retains the original DWM markings and Imperial proofs, with the 1920 date stamped over the 1917 date on top of the chamber. The rear toggle is stamped on top with the Spandau SU/50 proof, indicating the modificaton was done there. The front grip frame strap is navy marked "O.589.". Condition: Good. The metal finish showing sharp edge and high point holster wear. The finish thinning some on the grip straps. The straw color has mostly faded from the small parts. The grips show some handling. Mechanically fine. The bore shows wear to the rifling and some corrosion in the grooves. An interesting and seldom encountered German Navy variation. C&R/FFL, s/n 2xxl, Catalog Number NA-18

Dark brown Gustav Reinhardt/Berlin Eagle/WaA 18 proofed holster that has been black dyed in the front and is M/Anchor stamped and unit marked N 41 to match the gun. Original capture paper dated 19 July 1945 to Cpl. Robert G. Ruvel issued by Royal R. Stewart Major, Air Corps.
