Manufactured in Germany by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. (WKC), the Argentine crest has been ground off the right side of the ricasso. The serial number is barely visible but does appear to match the blue steel scabbard. The blade is clean and excellent. Ribbed aluminum handles are excellent. The scabbard retains 95% blue finish, there is a tiny dent on one side. Overall very good plus condition.,

Knife, machete or short sword issued to Artillery troops. Manufactured by Industria J.C. Saurez. Complete with the original and matching numbered steel scabbard and a leather belt frog. 14 11/16 inch bright blade, 19 7/8 inch OAL. Wood handles. Over all good clean condition, a small area of light pitting on the left side of the blade. The scabbard has several small dents which do not interfere with blade insertion.,

Blade is grooved on right side only and has dark spotting and some pitting on upper half. Upper 7" of blade edge has many nicks. Maker was in business from 1817-1891.,

BASKET HILT SWORD BASKET HILT SWORD
English/Scottish Model 1828 style basket hilted sword with a 32 inch plated and etched blade. One side has an etched Royal Crown. The ricasso is marked with a six point star on both sides, one side with a small brass disc which is marked "PROVED/T". The hilt has red and green felt lining, with a faded red tail on the pommel. Complete with the original nickel plated scabbard. The blade is very good with some scattered minor spotting.. The plated finish on the hilt has turned dull with some minor surface rust.,
