| A.H. FOX A GRADE DOUBLE 12 Ga; 95% blue, very good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, This is an example of a gun made by Ansley H. Fox in Philadelphia PA circa 1906 in the low A grade. Marked on top of the right barrel "KRUPP FLUID STEEL MADE BY" and on the left barrel "A.H. FOX GUN CO. PHILA. PA.". Both side of the frame are marked "ANSLEY H. FOX". The watertable is stamped with the serial number and a double stamped patent marking "PAT'D AUG. 1 1905/OCT. 17 1905 JAN.16 1906". The barrels and frame have been reblued, the barrels having areas of pitting which have been finished over. The gun retains the original checkered walnut splinter forearm. The stock is a well made fancy walnut replacement, which has been expertly fitted to the frame, and has a solid rubber buttpad. The gun has matching serial numbers on the forearm, barrel and frame. 2 3/4 inch chambers with Full and Modified chokes. Features a boxlock action, extractors, double triggers, latch release forearm and a full grip stock. The barrels show some thinning finish in the areas of pitting mainly. Original blue finish steel barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in checkered walnut. 2 1/2 inch chambers with Full and Modified chokes. The finish on the barrels shows wear and some handling, most of the finish loss on the sides above the forearm. There are some minor dings on both barrels. The frame has turned patina with traces of case color. The wood shows some wear and handling. The actions work fine. There is a small bit of up/down barrel play in lockup. | AKAH ALBRECHT KIND DOUBLE 12 Ga; good bore, fair stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in November 1925, with German Crown U, S and W proofs on the barrels. Marked on top of the right barrel "ALBRECHT KIND" and on top of the left barrel "SUHL". The watertable is marked AKAH with the serial number and a crown/U proof, and the bottom of the frame is marked "AKAH/D.R.G.M.". 2 1/2 inch chambers with Full chokes. Features a boxlock action, Greener style crossbolt, double triggers, top mounted cocking indicators, extractors, latch release forearm and sling swivels. The barrel finish has turned a blue/patina showing wear with a small dent on the side of the right barrel. The frame finish has faded away with heat marks on the front half. The stock is a handmade replacement which has does not fit tightly and has no provision for a buttplate. | ANTIQUE UNDERLEVER DOUBLE SHOTGUN 16 Gauge; fair bore, fair stock, 31 3/8'' barrel, Browned finish Damascus barrels with 2 1/2 inch chambers and Cylinder chokes, the barrels having been shortened to length. Casehardened frame, mounted in a walnut stock with a checkered straight grip and cheekrest. This gun has no identifiable proofs, and may be French manufacture. The top of the barrel rib is inlaid with silver wire "CANONS A RUBANS". The finish on the barrels is thinning, showing some minor surface spotting. The frame has turned to a spotty gray patina. The stock shows some wear and handling, with a well done repair to a break on top of the stock behind the frame. The gun is fitted with a silver trigger guard and buttplate.
