98 MAUSER GEW PRESSURE TEST RIFLE 8 mm; 95% blue, very good bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, 98 Mauser action barreled up with a heavy profile barrel for ammunition pressure testing. The receiver is unmarked except for a crossed swords stamp on the right side of the receiver ring. The top of the barrel chamber is stamped with the number 13 in Persian or maybe Arabic numerals. The bolt has a serial number stamped on the handle SR6843 with a Czech proof on the shank. Deep blue metal finsih mounted in a beechwood stock. The botl has no extractor fitted. The metal has areas of dried grease and some light surface spotting. The wood has minor dings and handling scratches. No upper sling swivel is fitted or sights. MAUSER 1888 COMMISSION RIFLE 6.5 X 55mm; 85% blue, fair bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, Erfurt manufacture, dated 1894. Stamped on the left side of the receiver KAR.88/n.m. Sporterized and rebarreled, chambered for 5.6x55mm Swedish Mauser. The remaining serial numbered parts are matching including the bolt. The bolt handle has been modified to a spoon type handle. The walnut stock has been shortened, retained by one original band with the sling attachement milled off and with an M67/89 Rolling Block fifle barrel band fitted at the end of the forend. The action has military proofs on the right side. The barrel shroud has been modifed to length. The barrel is fitted with a fixed front military inverted V sight and a carbine style short ladder rear sight. The bottom of the magazine box is fitted with a lever which drops the follower allowing cartridges to be loaded into the magazine. An original cartridge charger is modified by crimping the sides so that the clip will only fit into the magazine with the back of the clip used as the bottom? I am not sure exactly how this modification is supposed to be of benefit or how it is supposed to function. The metal has been refinished at some point now showing some wear and handling. The wood has some minor handling marks as well. The bore has strong rifling and a good muzzle, however is dark throughout. Antique., s/n 81xx	Z20236	$295.00
MAUSER 340B 22 SPORTER 22 LR; 90% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 27'' barrel, Bolt action clip fed repeater. Marked on the left side of the receiver "MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF A.N." with the small Mauser banner stamped on top of the receiver. Pre-war crown/B U G proofed. Matching numbered bolt. This rifle has had a Lyman 48W fully adjustable rear aperture sight mounted along with a tunnel front sight. The original front sight blade and rear sight leaf has been removed from the barrel. Original blue metal finish mounted in a walnut stock with the large Mauser logo stamped on the right side. The metal finish shows some light wear mainly to the high areas with some scattered minor spotting. The stock has many small dings and scratches. MAUSER OBERNDORF MODEL M SPORTING RIFLE 30-06 cal; 99% blue, near mint bore, very good stock, 19.75'' barrel, This rifle is an original Model M carbine which has been custom refinished and rebarreled by Coopers Gun Shop without interrupting the original configuration and lines. Marked along the left side of the barrel 30-06 CAL. COOPERS GUN SHOP. The left side of the receiver has the original markings "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER-OBERNDORF A/N." with the original pre-war BUG proofs on the left side of the receiver ring. The bolt and its components, rear sight leaves and bolt release have matching serial numbers to the receiver. Matted ramp front sight with a silver beaded blade. Two folding leaf rear sight. Factory stippled receiver ring. The metal has been expertly custom refinished in high polish blue and the rifle is mounted in the original checkered select walnut Mannlicher style stock with full grip and cheekrest, metal end cap and fitted with the original blue steel buttplate with the trap door marked with a large Mauser banner. This rifle is fitted with original factory claw mounts with a Carl Zeiss Zielvier 4X scope with heavy pointer and crosshair reticle. Features includes a special order left side mounted Greener/Brenneke style safety, double set triggers, spoon handle bolt and a lever release floorplate. The metal finish has a very few minor handling marks, the buttplate having some light spotting. The stock retains its original finish which shows some areas of wear with a few scattered very minor dings, the original checkering remains sharp. During a Swedish rifle inspectors stay in Germany, one of these rifles was to be at their disposal. After the officers tour was over, one of these type of rifles was given to him as a gift. SUHL/WAFFENFABRIKEN" in front of the folding two leaf rear sight, with a ramped fixed front sight. Military style receiver with full bordered basketweave style engraving. The left side of the barrel is marked with the matching serial number and a crown/N proof next to the St.m.G. marking. Double set triggers, the trigger guard having the same style engraving as the receiver. The floorplate is not engraved and is a possible replacement. The bolt has a spoon style handle with the same style engraving as the receiver, the matching serial number and crown/B and crown/N proofs. Mounted in a walnut stock with checkered forend and full grip with cheekrest and distinctive European style side flats. The stock has a newer vented pad added and an area behind the receiver tang which has been removed, likely due to a small crack.
