The wood has small dings and scuffs overall, with a crack on the right side from the end of the upper tang, running forward on the wrist. The original extractor assembly has been removed from the right side of the barrel, and a fabricated extractor system has been added, which is not working properly, nor is the action. The nickel finish on the frame and other parts shows flaking with spotting in the areas of loss. The stock has repaired cracks forward of the trigger guard. | BELGIAN HANQUET COMBINATION GUN 16 Ga/9.3mm; 50% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 27.25'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium circa 1890 with blue steel barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in checkered walnut. 2 1/2 inch chamber shotgun barrel with a Full choke. The exact chambering on the rifle barrel is not known, it is a 9mm bore. Inverted V front sight with a single folding leaf rear sight. The finish is worn on the barrels, the shotgun barrel having a dent on the side and the rifle barrel having a bulge approximately half way up. The frame has worn bright.
