| MARLIN MODEL 92 22 cal; 50% blue, poor bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Marked on top of the round barrel with the two line address and patent dates 1878-1892, and on top of the upper receiver tang "MARLIN./MODEL '92." with original blued metal finish and mounted in walnut. The barrel is fitted with fixed sights. Crescent buttplate with tang, indicating manufacture before 1906. the metal finish shows wear and thinning overall, with scratches and surface rust spotting. The wood has smany minor dings and scuffs and there is a tiny hole drilled in the bottom of the stock. The bore has strong rifling however shows corrosion throughout.
