F. N. DOUBLE AUTO 12 Ga; 75% blue, very good bore, good stock, 27.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium with blue metal finish and mounted in checkered walnut. 2 3/4 inch chamber with fixed Modified choke. Solid grooved rib with bead front sight. Marked on the left side of the barrel "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL-BELGIQUE" over the gauge, chamber and choke designation markings. Marked on the right side of the barrel "BROWNING'S PATENTS/MADE IN BELGIUM". The metal finish shows wear with scratches and minor spotting overall. The wood shows finish wear with many dings and scratches. The forend has a 1 inch hairline crack on the left side on the upper corner. FN BROWNING "TROMBONE" 22 LR; 98% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 22'' barrel, Tube fed pump action rifle, marked on top of the barrel "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE S.A. HERSTAL-BELGIQUE/BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE". Factory fine engraved with dog and game bird scenes on both sides of the receiver. Original blue finish mounted in a walnut stock with blue steel buttplate and a ribbed forearm. The rifle shows minor handling. This rifle is accompanied by some interesting paperwork, including both copies and the original FN factory invoice dated September 1945 stating the gun was sold to a Sgt. Elden M. Smith for 1200 Belgian Francs and an additional 10 packs of smokes for some added engraving on top of the receiver. Sgt. Smith bought this gun for a friend, Roy Imig, of Minier IL, whose name is engraved inside two banners on top of the receiver, along with some floral pattern engraving.
