303 British; 95% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 25.25'' barrel, BSA Co 1915 manufacture MKIII wth cutoff slot in receiver, FTR rework dated 1953. Black paint finish, mounted in beechwood forend and handguards, walnut buttstock. Matching nose cap and forend, curiously the bolt is serial number X63085 while the rifle number is X53085, a possible factory mistake. Electro-penciled on left side of receiver "FTR 1953". The rifle has a U.S. M1907 leather sling attached made by W.T.& B. Co and dated 1918, matching halves, which is in very nice condition, although not original British issue it is a nice bonus. Rifle shows some light wear and handling. The bore has shine and sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n X530xx

Matching bolt with #2 bolthead. Non-matching magazine. Number on forend is illegible. Original post war web sling, also includes a No4 MKII spike bayonet with scabbard and web belt frog in good condition. MKI milled adjustable rear sight. Small parts are proper British manufacture. 22 Long Rifle; 80% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 25.25'' barrel, Conversion from a Long Lee MKI* rifle to a Short Lee Enfield Converted II SMLE, Then to a Pattern 14 training rifle by AG Parker. The original markings on the right side of the buttsocket "Crown/VR/SPARKBROOK/1901/L.E./I*", the SMLE conversion markings appear on the left side of the buttsocket below the safety "ENFIELD/1905/ShtLE/ConD II", and the 22 training conversion markings appear on the right side of the buttsocket under the original markings, "A.G. PARKER/& Co LTD/BIRMINGHAM/22 PATT/14 No1". Original blue finish and walnut stock. Non-matching bolt with proper 22 bolt head. Magazine cuttoff and left side volley sights have been removed. The upper volley sight pointer stud has not been ground. Number 3 pattern magazine box with the follower and spring removed for catching the empty 22 cartridge casings. Australian ownership markings D broad arrow appear on the left side of the receiver ring and right side of the buttstock. Includes the attached original leather sling. Mechanically fine. The magazine is a No4 rifle pattern with the internals removed for use in collecting spent cartridge casings. Volley sights are retained. Includes the attached original web sling. Mechanically fine. 303 British; Good bore, good stock, 30.25'' barrel, Original markings on the right side of the frame CROWN/VR ENFIELD/1881/III with a downgrade to 2, which is cancelled. The left side of the frame is marked CROWN/VR ENFIELD/1896/M.E. 303/I. Several British proofs with rework dates 1890 and 1893. Sale markings on the barrel, frame and stock. The right side of the buttstock has a faint roundel cartcouche and other rework markings. Missing the front sight blade and cleaning rod. Worn metal finish with some pitting on the barrel, bands and forend tang. The walnut stock has been sanded and there is a gap between the frame and lower end of the forend. Mechanically fine. The bore shows some wear to the rifling, the muzzle remains tight, with some frost in the grooves. Antique., s/n 35xxC

MKIII receiver with original markings scrubbed. Serial number stamped on left side of barrel and top corner of the receiver. Fixed front sight, military style ladder rear sight with graduations to 200 yards marked on the left side of the base. Original blued finish. Walnut stock. The metal has light surface spotting over all. There is a small area of pitting on the right side of the barrel. The bore has some scattered pitting. Mechanically fine. Antique, s/n 110xx

SAVAGE NO4 MKI* T LEE ENFIELD SAVAGE NO4 MKI* T LEE ENFIELD
303 British; 90% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 25.25'' barrel, Savage manufactured No4 MKI* rifle, fitted up by Holland & Holland to be issued as a snipers rifle. Original blue metal finish. Mounted in a birchwood buttstock and handguards, with a walnut forend. Matching bolt. The forend is not numbered nor a Savage part, marked at the bottom tip with a crown proof over N49. All other parts are S marked for Savage manufacture except the brass buttplate and magazine which are British made parts and upper band which is a Long Branch part. The bottom of the buttstock grip is stamped with an original S51 Holland & Holland code. The cheekrest and scope base pads are original as installed by Holland & Holland. No import marks, the end of the barrel is stamped with the British export "tons" markings. No auxillary sling swivel has been installed at the front of the trigger guard, which would have been removed if it was decided not to scope the rifle, which was the case with most of the Savage made No4 rifles which Holland & Holland began to fit up. The scope base pads do not have the screws peened, since the rifle never had a scope fitted, this was not done. Included with the rifle is a reproduction Mo32 MKI scope which has replicated markings, a 1941 date and serial number 1044, and leather lens covers. The scope is mounted to a reproduction mount as well. The scope has as new optics with a pointer/crosshair reticle. The scope mount fits the pads well, without any problems. The rifle is mechanically fine with a bright sharp 5 groove bore. C&R/FFL, s/n 15C01xx
