Metal has a grey/brown patina overall. Old patch repair to right side of forend. Ramrod intact. Many of these were used during the American Civil War, many aboard ships for repelling any boarders. Wood is cracked on left at rear lockplate screw and a piece of wood is missing under hammer on right. Forend is made in two separate pieces and the end for about 6" is broken and missing. Stock would be in better condition except for an old repaired crack at wrist and repair to toe of stock. These are old repairs done with engraved re-inforce plates on each side and top of wrist. Also a piece of wood is missing under the hammer. Lock screw appears to be a recent replacement. Double set trigger does not function well and will need attention. Reportedly made in Illinois area. Another crack ahead of lockplate on right side of stock. Part of the flange on head of hammer is missing. Hammer will not lock back. Double set triggers. Lockplate marked B.W. Booth Cincinnati. Stock appears to have been sanded and refinished at some point. Ramrod appears original and is missing its metal tip. Some pitting at bolster area on full octagon barrel.,      C10040   $945.00

Engraved unmarked lockplate. Heavy octagon barrel is a smooth rust brown patina. Tunnel style front sight with a fine needle post. Elevation adjustable simple screw type rear heart shaped sight. Wlanut stock would be in better condition except for a crack starting behind tang. Nipple needs replaced. Action works well. Missing ramrod. Caliber is approximate.,      M2709   $995.00

 PERCUSSION HALF STOCK RIFLE  PERCUSSION HALF STOCK RIFLE; 45 cal; fair stock, 39 3/8'' barrel, Caliber is approximate. Barrel is not maker marked. Lock is marked H. E. Leman Lancaster Pa. and has some shallow leaf pattern engraving. Bolster area has some mostly medium pitting. Pewter end cap on forend. Other furniture is brass. The hammer will not hold in the cocked position. The lower end of the brass toe plate has broken off. The barrel stock pin seems to have no keeper to hold in place however the pin is there. The stock had broken at the wrist and was repaired buy three long brass plates screwed in to secure the crack along with some pins. The toe of the stock is cracked also and it appears no attempt has been made to repair this. The ramrod is there however we are not sure if it is the original. Barrel is a smooth rust patina. This rifle was purchased from the family of an original owner, a Mr. Carl Henderson of Fulton Co. IL. He was born in 1860. Included is a leather shot flask which is in very good original condition and still has some old shot in it, a brass powder flask with remnants of an old leather thong, a plain antler powder flask retaining its original wood end and a stag plug, and a vintage bone powder measure. All these items reportedly handed down through the family together and intact.,      M2623   $795.00 
 REMINGTON REVOLVING RIFLE  REMINGTON REVOLVING RIFLE; 36 cal; good bore, good stock, 21'' barrel, mismatched cylinder is #114, brass trigger guard and buttplate, folding leaf rear sight, finish is gone and the metal shows signs of being cleaned and polished, having some scattered traces of some very minor pitting. According to Flayderman's the barrel may have been shortened to 21". VG mechanical condition, however cylinder does not lock up tightly.
