7.63mm Mauser; 70% blue, good bore, good grips, good stock, 5.5'' barrel, Original blue finish and grooved walnut grips. All matching including the grips. Standard Mauser Oberndorf markings on top of the chamber and on the right side of the frame with crown/U proofs. Imperial proofed on the right side of the receiver. Fixed front sight, 1000 meter tangent rear sight. NS marked hammer. Original walnut stock, non-matching to the pistol, serial number on the attaching iron "564" with an Imperial proof on the left side near the hinge plate. Accompanying the pistol is a contemporary fabric covered French fitted case, inside the case is an original cleaning rod, reprint photo of a WW1 German soldier sitting in a trench holding a stocked Mauser C96 pistol, a German WW1 1914-1918 service medal, 5 10 round stripper clips, and 4 8 round stripper clips loaded with 8 rounds each of Czech bxn 52 headstamped ammo. The metal finish on the pistol is thinning over all, with scattered light spotting over all. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 3463xx

The metal finish shows edge wear and slight thinning on the front grip frame strap, scattered light handling scratches. The left grip panel has a crack on the front extension at the top. 7.63mm Mauser; 70% blue, good bore, good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Large Ring Hammer Flatside with original blue finish and walnut grips. Fixed front and 1000 meter tangent rear sights. The usual Mauser Oberndorf markings appear on top of the chamber. No visible serial number in the ordinary locations, on chamber flat, hammer, subframe or frame. No proofing or inspector markings on any externally visible surfaces. Long extractor, single lug firing pin. Fire blued extractor, sight assembly, bolt stop, safety, grip screw. Thin, strawed trigger. Was not disassembled. Original lanyard ring. The serial number 1A was applied at import to comply with BATFE regulations. Provenance: From the collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. Condition: Good. 70% original blue finish showing considerable handling. Comparable condition fire blued and strawed parts. Original finish but no serial numbers or proofs might suggest assembly for in-house testing. It may have been assembled just prior to the Italian Navy contract or simply assembled from spare parts. Mauser Oberndorf markings on left side of slide. The metal finish shows wear with most loss from thinning on the grip frame straps. Mechanically fine. No lanyard added. C&R/FFL, s/n 9601xx

The metal finish shows some wear and handling. The grip panels show handling dings and dents, with both panels missing the tips at the upper front corners. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 9670xx

25 ACP; 95% blue, good bore, very good grips, 3'' barrel, All matching numbers with original blue finish and checkered walnut one piece grips. Stamped on the left side of the slide "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER A.-G. OBERNDORF a.N." with the Mauser Banner appearing on the left side of the frame. The right side of the slide is engraved MAUSER-6.35 and the right side of the frame is stamped with the export marking "GERMANY". Crown/U proofed. The back of the frame is stamped with the Portuguese military circled triangle proof. Complete with an original magazine. The finish shows mainly only sharp edge wear with some widely scattered very minor spotting. The grips show some finish wear with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 2797xx

The right side of the slide is stamped "Cal. 7.65 D.R.P.u.A.P.". Commercial crown/U proofed on the top back edge of the slide and right side of the barrel lug. All matching numbers. The metal finish shows some edge wear, with scattered areas or finish loss on the frame and some small areas on the left side of the slide. There is also some minor corrosion on the sharp edges of the slide. The grips show some wear and handling. Mechanically fine with a clean sharp bore. C&R/FFL, s/n 5476xx

Original blue finish and walnut grips with 23 grooves. All matching including both grip panels. Stamped on top of the chamber WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N and along the top of the barrel MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE D'ARMES ET CYCLES ST. ETIENNE. A crown/U proof is located on the left side of the barrel chamber. Fixed front sight with a tangent rear sight graduated to 1000 meters. The metal finish has even thinning overall, with some light spotting on the grip frame straps. Some fire blue finish remains on the safety, rear sight elevation slider and extractor. The grips have some minor handling marks with wear to the varnish finish. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, showing light frost throughout. Antique., s/n 79xx, Catalog Number OK-02

The stock has a tight crack on the right side running from the open end thru the catch button and screw and three tight grain cracks on the bottom. 7.63mm Mauser; 80% blue, good bore, fair stock, 11 13/16'' barrel, Rare transistional production with features not found on standard production examples, a longer chamber area on the receiver, and slightly heavier rails without lightening grooves. Large ring hammer with early variation safety, trigger, extractor and firing pin. This carbine is pictured and described in the book "System Mauser" by John W Breathed Jr and Joseph J Schroeder Jr on page 166. Original blue finish, walnut stock and forend. British retailer markings on left side of frame "WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO. / LONDON". British proofing and "Not English Make" markings on right side of receiver and frame. Top of chamber marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF a/n". Matching serial numbers including the stock, serail number "41". Hooded fixed front sight with fine post and bead. Tangent rear sight also drift adjustable for windage graduated 50-500 meters. The elevation adjustment is marked "WESTLEY RICHARDS &/Co". The metal finish has scattered surface spotting, and some corrosion/minor pitting on right side of frame. Handling scratches and dings. The forend has a split on the left side over the receiver rail and an old sliver of wood missing on the right side at the joint with receiver. The stock has the original checkered hard rubber buttplate. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, showing frost and some minor corrosion. C&R/FFL, s/n 41
