OBERNDORF A.N." with the Mauser banner on the left side frame. The right side of the slide is stamped "Cal 7,65-D.R.P.u.A.P.". Includes an original cardboard box with wax paper and bore brush with a non-matching serial number on the lid. Mechanically fine and clean. The metal finish shows light high point holster wear. All matching including the magazine, which has the Police added number 1 and full matching serial number on the bottom of the base. Fixed sights. Standard Mauser Oberndorf markings on the slide and banner on the left side frame plate. There is a nazi Police eagle/C proof on the left side rear of the frame. The metal finish shows some wear and handling, and there are areas of minor pitting on the slide. Mechanically fine. This pistol is listed by serial number in Jan Stills book "Axis Pistols" page 223. Stamped on the left side of the slide "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER A.-G. OBERNDORF a.N." with the Mauser Banner appearing on the left side of the frame. The right side of the slide is engraved MAUSER-6.35 and the right side of the frame is stamped with the export marking "GERMANY". Crown/U proofed. The back of the frame is stamped with the Portuguese military circled triangle proof. Complete with an original magazine. The finish shows mainly only sharp edge wear with some widely scattered very minor spotting. The grips show some finish wear with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 2797xx

The metal finish shows some edge wear, with scattered areas or finish loss on the frame and some small areas on the left side of the slide. There is also some minor corrosion on the sharp edges of the slide. The grips show some wear and handling. Mechanically fine with a clean sharp bore. C&R/FFL, s/n 5476xx

Standard Mauser markings with crown/U proofs, some of the markings are a bit faint from refinishing. Import marked on the left side of the receiver. The metal finish shows wear and handling, with surface rust spotting overall. The grips are worn with faint grooves. The action works however the safety will need some attention as it will not lock into the safe position. The bore is worn with corrosion. C&R/FFL, s/n 5194xx

7.63 mm; 98% blue, good bore, very good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Early large ring hammer. Matching serial numbers. Crown U and early British firing proofed on barrel. Bright blued finish has widely scattered light scratches in finish. British retailer marked on left side of frame 'Charles Lancaster London'. A number '11280' inscribed on bottom of trigger guard is possibly the retailers inventory number? Nice heat treat blue on small parts. Possible refinish long ago and possibly by the retailers facility. Many of these early automatic pistols were purchased and carried by colonial officers and other troops in far off lands of the British Empire., s/n 279xx

9mm Luger; 85% blue, good bore, good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Original blue finish, fire blued small parts and matching number grooved red nine walnut grips. Matching numbers. Crown/U and Imperial proofed. Standard Mauser Oberndorf markings on top of the chamber and right side of the frame. NS marked hammer. This pistol has British BNP proofs as well on all the major components, along with a stamp on the right side of the receiver NOT ENGLISH MAKE and the British export release "tons" markings on the bottom of the barrel. The metal finish shows edge and high point holstering wear, the grip frame straps thinning to patina and some wear on the bottom of the barrel from insertion into the stock/jholster. The grips show some wear and handling as well. Mechanically fine, the bore is clean with sharp rifling, showing some minor corrosion and frost. Includes an original walnut stock/holster which is not matching to the gun, numbered 191 on top of the attaching iron. The stock is in overall fair condition, showing small dings and scratches. There is a crack on the back of the stock running down from the grip hole for about 4 inches which will need repair. The metal fittings on the stock have turned mostly gray. The stock will require a small amount of fitting to mount to the slot on the grip frame properly. C&R/FFL, s/n 411xx
