9mm Luger; 97% blue, 85% straw, Good bore, very good grips, 4'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Matching including the magazine. The grips are not numbered. Navy proofed on the front grip strap with the ornate eagle/M and the Navy property marking N/1118. The top of the toggle is stamped with the Mauser coder S/42 and the top of the chamber is stamped with the date code G (1935). The right side of the receiver is stamped with an eagle/211 and an S/92 proofs, along with a droop wing eagle military acceptance test mark. Other military acceptance marks appear on the right side of the barrel and left side of the breechbolt. The left side of the barrel is stamped with a small eagle/211 proof. The magazine base is stamped with the matching serial number and suffix, an eagle/211 proof, and the Navy property marking N/1118. Condition: The metal finish shows light sharp edge and high point holstering wear. The finish remains bright overall, with some thinning on the grip frame straps. The small parts retain mostly uniform color, with fading around the front corners of the trigger. The toggle pins and sear spring retain most of the bright fire blue finish. The fire blue on the grip screws is fading. The grips show light wear and handling, the checkering remains sharp. Mechanically fine. The bore has sharp rifling, there is some corrosion in the grooves. Rig, includes an original Navy proofed holster which is in very good intact condition. Marked on the back CARL ACKVA/BADKREUZNACH/1939 along with a WaA286 proof and the Navy Eagle/M proof. Also includes an extra magazine which is not matching to the gun, however is Navy property marked. The magazine is numbered 2588d/+ with an eagle/211 proof and a Navy property number N/1119.
