fair bore, good stock, 19'' barrel, Circa late 18th or early 19th century. Iron barrel, brass mounted walnut stock. Ramrod appears to be the original, with small worm on one end. Oval silver plate on the left side of the stock with a previous owners initials engraved. The side of the lockplate is hand stamped "PATTISON" (Thomas Pattison of Dublin), the top of the barrel and buttplate have a registration or inventory number added "L-Y 3837" likely done in England. A Wallis & Wallis Sussex England auction house tag is included which was attached to the trigger guard (old string broke). There is a well done repair to a crack on the right side of the stock above the lockplate. The cock and frizen work well. The bore is surface rusty. Antique, s/n L-Y38xx
