9mm Luger; 90% blue, 50% straw, good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Circled N proof on the end of the front sight base. Full s/n on bottom of barrel with Imperial acceptance mark over the right side. 1918 date on top of the chamber. DWM monogram on the toggle. Imperial proofs on the right side of the receiver. Police sear safety installed over the sideplate. The frame is not cut for the magazine safety. Matching numbers except for the trigger and toggle pin. Grips are not serial numbered. Backstrap is unit marked "Pol.Jtz.11.". Wood bottom magazine has been Police re-numbered to match. Featured on pages 575 and 1164 of the book "The Brochardt & Luger Automatic Pistols" by Joachim Gortz and Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess, and is from the collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. The metal has scattered minor corrosion and some minor pitting. The magazine is good showing wear to the plated finish and some spotting. The rings on both sides of the magazine base have a chip.
