INDIAN KUKRI KNIFE
Kukri "Gurkha" knife complete with silver mounted leather scabbard and two small side knives. 12 inch blade with simple decoration along the upper edge for about 6 inches. Engraved steel handle. British WW1 era presentation, the chape has an ornate Royal Crown over an engraved "PRESENTED BY THE GURKHA OFFICERS OF 2/3rd Q.A.O. GURKHAS" over crossed kukri knives and the number "3". The 2nd Company, 3rd Queen Alexandra's Own Gurkha Rifles was from nepal serving with the British Army from 1885-1950. Over all good condition, the blade has some small pits on the right side. Both small pouches for the side knives have separated at the tip from the scabbard.
