11mm Mauser; very good bore, good stock, 20'' barrel, 1877 date. Top of barrel chamber marked "A.G.H./Suhl" below large Imperial eagle. Crown/S and Crown/B proofs on upper right chamber. "K. Mod 71" marked on left receiver. All visible numbers are matching including the screw heads. Full walnut stock with sharp proofs on bottom and right side. A name "COFFMAN" is lightly carved onto the left side of butt. Provenance: From the collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. Condition: Good, retaining 50% orig browned finish on the barrel, blued small parts. Receiver and bolt in the white with scattered minor spotting/pitting. The walnut stock shows normal wear and handling with a small old chip at the toe. The bore is bright. Mechanically fine. Antique, s/n 70xx
