4.5mm; fair bore, 6'' barrel, Rare chrome plate finish single-shot Bergmann air pistol with fixed sights. Left side of the frame is marked "Brevet sgdg" and on the right side is marked "PATENT". Smoothbored. Small bolt action loading. Cocking is through the base of the frame using a special tool which is included, to pull the extending plunger head down. The tool is also be used to remove plungers cover plate to access the mechanism. Complete with a felt lined wooden case, missing the latch hook. Also includes two period packages of pellets, one round cardboard with a blue label marked "H.Utendoerffer/Nurnberg", the other a green metal tin with description in three languages including English. From the collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. The pistol is in good condition with some chrome loss on the grip areas. Cocking tool shows finish loss with rusting. Comparable condition pellet containers that add to the overall presentation. An extremely scarce Bergmann air pistol with charging tool. Bolt operates, charging rod operates. No air pressure.,
