30 Luger; 95% blue, 90% straw, good bore, very good grips, 6 7/8'' barrel, Ultra rare Chilean Trials fixed rear sight Prototype DWM 1900 model with matching push button catch shoulder stock. Serial number 10044. 7 inch 7.65mm (.30 Luger) caliber barrel with full serial number. "BUG" proofs on bottom. DWM scroll on center toggle link. Dished toggles with toggle latch. "BUG" proofs on left receiver. Grip safety. Wide trigger guard. Checkered 1st type safety lever. All numbered parts are matching including the checkered walnut grips. Proper unmarked wood bottom magazine. Original walnut push-button stock with unique two digit "44" numbering across top of iron and on the wood inside the strap loops cutout. This gun is featured on pages 240, 251 and 252 of the book "The Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols" by Joachim Gortz and Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. Provenance: Collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. Condition: Excellent. Restored to 97% blue and straw. Worn and thinning finish on rear grip frame strap. Grips are lightly worn with very minor dings and oil soaking. Magazine has light corrosion on body and minor chips on wood bottom edges. Stock shows normal wear for its age with some minor dings and lug that has been restored to 97% blue and straw.
