9mm Luger; 98% blue, 95% straw, fair bore, excellent grips, 4'' barrel, Restored, blue finish, strawed small parts, fire blued pins, reproduction checkered walnut grips. Numbered parts are matching except the magazine. The hold open is not numbered. Magazine is an original Navy marked Mauser plated sheet steel variation with aluminum base. Serial numbered 1225f with a droop eagle/63 proof and Navy marked "N/1272". Stamped on top of the toggle with the scriptic S/42 Mauser code. "K" (1934) date code stamped on top of the chamber. The right side of the receiver is stamped with two O/37 proofs and a droop wing eagle military acceptance mark. Most small parts are marked with the scriptic "S". The front grip frame strap is stamped with a non-original navy marking "O.1981". Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, showing corrosion throughout. Rig, includes an original Karl Ackva 1934 dated holster which has seen service in Norway, indicated by four small plugged holes on the back between the belt loops. Also includes an original unmarked takedown tool and original brass cleaning rod stored in the corresponding pouches under the flap. C&R/FFL, s/n 24xx, Catalog Number M-143
