30 Luger; 80% blue, 70% straw, fair bore, good grips, 4.75'' barrel, Swiss older commercial retoration, rust blued finish, original strawed small parts, matching serial number fine checkered walnut grips. The searbar is finished in the white. All numbered parts are proper and matching. 1st type safety, large trigger guard, narrow grip safety, dished toggles. Marked on top of the toggle with the DWM monogram. Top of the chamber with the Swiss Cross in Sunburst crest. Swiss wood bottom with discs magazine in very good condition. The metal finish shows sharp edge wear, with scattered minor spotting mainly around high points. There is some light pitting on the left side of the muzzle ring and some minor "pin prick" pitting over the right side of the barrel which appears to have been finished over during the restoration. Consignor notes state that this particualr pistol could have been a test gun. The pistol is accompanied by a 1930s era storage case with fitted purple felt interior in very good condition, with a brass plate on the lid engraved with initials "E. W.". Included in the case are an original oiler handle brass cleaning rod, unmarked original takedown tool, an extra Swiss wood disc bottom magazine in excellent condition, and a vintage full box of DWM manufactured 30 Luger (7,65mm Parabellum) ammunition. The amunition box is in fair opened condition with some tape added. The ammunition appears original to the box and is overall clean. The pistol is mechanically fine, grips good, the bore has strong rifling, however shows light pitting and corrosion throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 2xx, Catalog Number SW-73
