8mm Mauser; 70% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Concentration camp issue. Manufactured by Steyr, dated 1943. Original blued finish, laminated stock and handguard. Numbered parts are matching. Stamped on top of the receiver ring with an eagle/WaA623 proof, the code "bnz", S single rune, and date code "43". Left side of the barrel and receiver ring are stamped with eagle/swaztika acceptance marks. The right side of the receiver ring is stamped with an eagle/77 proof, and two eagle/WaA77 proofs are located on the right side of the rear sight base. The trigger guard and floorplate are eagle/77 proofed as well. Original front sight hood and cleaning rod. Leather sling atached is a possible reproduction. Milled small parts with solid upper band. The metal finish is thinning overall. The stock has had a light coat of varnish applied long ago, there are a few small stress cracks at the end of the butt and a 2 inch crack behind the receiver tang. The bore is dark. Mechanically fine. No import marks. C&R/FFL, s/n 81xxl
