MAUSER 1934 BANNER COMMERCIAL
30 Luger; 98% blue, 80% straw, 4'' barrel, Original matching magazine. One of the very first banners of which only about 10 are known in 9mm. 8-line banner. Dated 1937, seeThe Mauser Parabellum, by Houck, pages 312-313. Thhis gun shows variations of finish characteristics of the precious "Oberndorf" 34 model with high polish blue and matt darker finish. This is a unique early banner because of the 1937 date and 30 caliber. These early first Mauser lugers are my favorite models as they are seemingly endless variations. At this time period nMauser was taking small orders worldwide, and also experimenting with hear treating and finish on these pistols. Import marked.
