9mm Luger; 85% blue, Good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, All matching except the grips which are not numbered or proofed and the magazine which is a proper variation for the pistol black bottom fxo mag, which is properly not numbered. Stamped on top of the toggle with the Mauser code byf and on top of the chamber with the date code 42 (1942). The right side of the receiver is stamped with two eagle/135 proofs followed by a military acceptance stamp. A small eagle/135 proof is located on the left side of the barrel and two other military acceptance stamps appear on the right side of the barrel and left side of the breechbolt. The left side frame is stamped P.08. The origingal blue finish shows edge wear and high point holstering wear, with areas of thinning on the barrel and receiver. The finish on the grip straps shows some thinning and minor spotting. The grips show wear with worn points on the checkering, the right grips a compression at the bottom near the screw. Mechanically fine, the bore shows some wear and light corrosion in the grooves. Includes an original 1941 dated leather holster, marked on the back with the code gxy and date 1941, over a WaA706 proof. The back corner is embossed P.08. Also includes an original eagle/63 proofed takedown tool and an extra original fxo black bottom magazine. The original stitching is intact, and the holster is in overall very good condition, showing some scuffing and scratches. C&R/FFL, s/n 17xxh, Catalog Number M-600
