9mm Luger; 85% blue, 40% straw, Good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and matching number checkered walnut grips. Matching except the proper Erfurt proofed magazine which si numbered 2098b/+ and the unmarked takedown lever. Unit marked on the front grip strap 22.R.11.3. (Royal Saxon rifle Regiment). Stamped on top of the toggle crown/ERFURT and on top of the chamber with the date 1913. Standard Imperial proofs and military acceptance marks. The small parts except the takedown lever have the small Erfurt proof mark. The left side short rail is stamped GERMANY. Condition: The metal finish shows edge and high point holstering wear, with light spotting overall and some pin prick pitting along the edge of the frame above the right side panel. The strawed small parts show some dark spotting. The grips show light wear to the points on the checkering and some minor handling marks. The magazine has a chip on one side of the base. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong fairly sharp rifling, showing light corrosion in the grooves. C&R/FFL, s/n 56xxa, Catalog Number E-62
