9mm Luger; 90% blue, 50% straw, Good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Weimar era Police issue in 9mm chambering, original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Matching except the proper variation magazine and un-numbered grips. Standard markings and numbering of a DWM 1920 Commercial pistol of the period, this example has the Weimar period Army and Police crown/G (scriptic) proofs on the left side of the receiver next to the vertical crown/N proof and on the bottom of the barrel. There is also a half stamped Weimar droop eagle proof on the bottom of the barrel. The toggle is stamped with the DWM logo. The magazine is numbered 6151 with the crown/G proof, with a number 1 stamped on the front of the base Police style. The front grip strap is Police unit marked S.St. and 1063. flanking a cancelled out previous unit mark, of the Stettin District Schupo. Condition: The metal finish shows sharp edge wear and areas of thinning, mainly on the grip frame straps. The remaining straw color is fairly uniform on the small parts. The grips show some wear and handling with strong checkering. Mechanically fine. The bore has sharp rifling, showing light corrosion throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 61xxr, Catalog Number D-244
