32 RF; poor bore, good grips, 2 3/4'' barrel, 5th Model, manufactured from 1864-1869 by Merrill Firearms Manufacturing Company, marked on the circular plate on the left side of the frame "STARR'S PAT'S/MAY 10 1864". Tip up four barrel cluster with originally a blue finish, nickel plated brass frame and fitted with walnut grips. Features an exposed hammer mounted to the right side of the frame and a checkered button trigger. The finish on the barrels has worn or been cleaned away, with some minor pitting overall. The frame has been brass plated at some point, and shows minor handling dings. The action works well however the firing pin is not rotating. Barrel lockup is good.,
